Add a new user in Mobile Administrator

Follow these steps to add a new user in Access Mobile Administrator.

  1. Click the Windows icon in the bottom left of the screen.

  2. Type Access Applications, then click the folder.

  3. Click the Access Mobile Services option.

  4. Click Administrator to open the login window.

  5. Enter the Administrator account information and the Service URL — these will have been provided separately.

  6. Click Logon.

  7. On the System tab, click Users.

  8. Click New User.

  9. Enter the user details:

    • User ID: A unique ID for the user. This could be the Engineer Code or the User ID from Service Manager.

    • User Name: The User’s email address.

    • Password: A password for the user to connect with.

    • Profile: The profile for the user.

    • Enabled: Select this if the user is enabled.

    • Administrator: Select this if the user is to be an administrator.

  10. Add the Linked User:

    • AMS Database: The database to link the user to.

    • User Type: Select whether the user is an engineer or a user.

    • User ID: The user ID to link the account to.

  11. Add additional Linked Users as required.

  12. Click Save.

  13. Click Save and Close. The user should now be able to log in to the chosen databases via Service Manager Mobile.
