Add a new user in Mobile Administrator

Follow these steps to add a new user in Access Mobile Administrator.

  1. Click the **Windows** icon in the bottom left of the screen.

  2. Type **Access Applications**, then click the folder.

  3. Click the Access Mobile Services option.

  4. Click **Administrator** to open the login window.

  5. Enter the **Administrator account information** and the **Service URL** — these will have been provided separately.

  6. Click Logon.

  7. On the **System** tab, click **Users**.

  8. Click **New User**.

  9. Enter the user details:

    • User ID: A unique ID for the user. This could be the Engineer Code or the User ID from Service Manager.

    • User Name: The User’s email address.

    • Password: A password for the user to connect with.

    • **Profile:** The profile for the user.

    • **Enabled:** Select this if the user is enabled.

    • **Administrator:** Select this if the user is to be an administrator.

  10. Add the Linked User:

    • AMS Database: The database to link the user to.

    • **User Type:** Select whether the user is an engineer or a user.

    • **User ID:** The user ID to link the account to.

  11. Add additional Linked Users as required.

  12. Click **Save**.

  13. Click **Save and Close**. The user should now be able to log in to the chosen databases via Service Manager Mobile.
